IMAGE DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for erasing image information prepared in the past and to output the image information to a monitor as necessary by providing plural external storage device and providing a means to exchange one external storage device with the other external storage device CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with two external storage devices 6a and 6b composed of magnetic disk storage devices, for example, to store image information stored in a temporary storage device 5, and these external storage devices can be exchanged with the other magnetic disk storage devices. The exchanged two external storage devices 6a and 6b are selected by an external storage device changeover switch 16 and afterwards, the image information stored in the temporary storage device 5 can be written or the written image information can be read to the side of an image display device 8 corresponding to write and read commands from a control part 9. Based on a command signal S4 from a console 22 through the control part 9, the external storage device changeover switch 16 selects either of the external storage devices 6a and 6b to be driven.
