BRANCH JOINT FOR HIGH VOLTAGE WIRE

PURPOSE:To lead out a branch line easily in safety from a high voltage main line of about 6600V. CONSTITUTION:A conductive pin 3 planted on a conductive tube 2 in a branch tube 1 made of highly dielectric plastic is led out through a small hole 1b made through a branch part 1a of the branch tube 1. Conductors 4b, 4b connected with inner conductors 4a, 4a of two insulated wires 4 are inserted tightly into the conductive tube 2 and connected each other. Furthermore, a retaining rubber tube 5 applied on the wire 4 is pressed tightly, at the tapered outer peripheral surfaces thereof, against tapered inner peripheral surfaces 1c, 1c of the branch tube 1 through a resilient member 7 thus supporting the insulated wires 4, 4 tightly by means of the rubber tubes 5, 5 and preventing removal thereof.
