CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field generator 6 is arranged to produce a magnetic field in test field 7. A saturable ferromagnetic yoke 8 has a magnetic path 8a adjacent to the test field 7 so that a flux from the generator 6 may run through the magnetic path 8a. When the yoke 8 is energized by a pulse source 10, it is saturated to permit the flux from the generator to pass through the test field 7 rather than path 8a. |
