TRANSPARENT ELECTRODE SWITCH

PURPOSE:To make a transparent electrode switch whose glare due to component parts is not noticeable and is usable for the front of a display apparatus whose image quality is important. CONSTITUTION:A transparent electrode switch 10 is prepared by setting transparent electrodes 12, 22 formed on transparent films 11, 21 to be opposed to each other while setting a dot spacer 31 between them. The light transmittance of at least the front side transparent film 11 is made to be a low value and the quantity of outside light reflected by the transparent electrode 12 formed in the rear side is made low. Also, the light transmittance of the dot spacer 31 is made low and the maximum value of the intensity of the light which passes the dot spacer 31 is made to be the same as the intensity of the light which passes the near surrounding. As a result, the glare due to the reflection of the outside light in the transparent electrode 12 formed on the transparent film 11 as well as the light which is scattered by refraction and convergence becomes not noticeable.
