Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To obtain a self-clamping mold assembly useful for an automatic asynchronous molding system by providing a lock hole part on a plate of a mold including aligned two or more plates and locking and engaging a tie rod assembly engaged with the lock hole part on independent plates and a force generator. CONSTITUTION: This mold body comprises, for instance, three plates and equipped with mold cavity and a lock hole part with the center axis. The tie rod assembly 52 is equipped with a rotatable tie rod 56 and a locking pin 62 and the tip plate and engaged with the top plate by the lock hole part. The force generator 54 is engaged with the bottom plate and equipped with a non- rotating lock shaft 86 and a spring biased member 90 comprising a seat 91. The container 94 on the upper end of the lock shaft 86 is equipped with a key type slot opening 104 and neighboring lock surface 106 and locked and engaged with the locking pin 64 of the tie rod 56. The spring biased member 90 compresses the plate and maintain it in a clamped condition. |
