TELEPHONE SET

PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation at dialing in various telephone sets remarkably by setting a reception loudspeaker mode when a speech line is acquired and selecting the mode into the handset speech mode with a detection output so as to attain the automatic changeover of the speech mode. CONSTITUTION:When off-hook operation of a slave set S is detected and an external line key is depressed, a CPU 36 detects it and allows a radio transmission reception section 31 to send a dial signal to a master set M. A CPU 9 of the master set M receiving the dial signal through a radio transmission reception section 17 turns on a transistor(TR) 2 via a dial IC 8 to acquire an external line L and to set a speech channel between the master set M and the slave set S and sends speech start data to the slave set. The CPU 36 of the slave set S receives the data to activate an amplifier 41 and sends a dial tone from the external line L to a speaker 39. When the dial key is operated, the CPU 36 of the slave set S sends the dial signal to the master set M to attain the handset speech mode.
