DATA OUTPUT BUFFER

PURPOSE: To improve the noise characteristics and operational speed by making output data transit through the middle level when the data are outputted, thereby preventing DC current from flowing while the output data are kept on a middle level. CONSTITUTION: The output of a first input circuit 11 and an inversion output signal OE' are inputted to first control circuits 21, 22, and the output data DOUT are inputted to a second control circuit 23. Then, pull-up stages 27, 28 for making the DOUT on the middle level according to first, second control signals are provided. Further, the DOUT are inputted to third control circuits 24, 25, and the output of a second input circuit 12 and the OE' are inputted to a fourth control circuit 26. Then, pull-down stages 29, 30 for making the DOUT on the middle level according to third, fourth control signal are provided. In such a manner, the DOUT are kept on the middle level while an output enable signal is activated.
