Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To carry out extremely rapid needle close of an injection valve by releasing as fast as possible a high fuel pressure during discharge finish control period in a fuel injection pump. CONSTITUTION: A control bore 20 is arranged in an annular slide 15 in the manner that the control bore 20 extends obliquely with respect to a pump plunger axis and extends through a radial plane with respect to the pump plunger axis. An axis of the control bore 20 is arranged in an inner wall of the annular slide 15 so as to form an ellipse-like flow-in cross section substantially parallel with an control edge of a control notch 22.
