DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING SUPPORT PLAY OF SYLINDER OF PRINTING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To provide an improved bearing play adjustment device for the cylinder of a printing machine that can easily be operated without detaching gears. CONSTITUTION: A first bush 8, which receives another drive device, is unrotatably held on an axle journal 2, the bush can be pressed against the side ring of a cylindrical bearing 4 using a pressure plate 43 allocated at the end of the axle journal, the cylindrical bearing 4 has a conical shaped inner lace, and a fitting thin plate 46 is placed between the pressure plate 43 and the end of the axle journal. The end of the axle journal has a conical-shaped trapezoid notch 39, which is tapered and extends in the axial direction of the plate cylinder. In the notch, a conical-shaped trapezoid member 41 can be fixed within the second bush 9 coaxially provided so that the conical-shaped trapezoid member 41 can be movably and selectively positioned to open a circumferential wall 40 of the first bush 8.
