Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a rotary drum of magnetic recording/reproducing device capable of reducing a noise and the bending amount of a picture by improving the contact state with a head at the tape exit part. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of an upper drum 1 provided with the magnetic head 2 and a lower drum 3 supporting the upper drum 1 and also providing the projecting part 13 near the tape end part of the running tape, then the projecting part 13 is formed continuously from the lower part to the upper part, and also the projecting amount at the lower part is made larger than that at the upper part.
