Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide an improved device capable of removing magnetic carrier beads and similar particles from a photoconductive surface. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a means for removing by magnetically attracting the beads from a photoconductive surface. A housing 94 is provided with at least one supporting part in a V-type, and the housing 94 is provided with magnetically attracting means. A supporting shaft 92 is placed on one side part of the photoconductive surface opposite to the housing 94, and supported by a V-shaped supporting part. By these shaft 94 and magnetic attraction means, a uniform gap is formed between them.
