Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enable the output of data for proof sheets by forming image information in a double spread state and to enable the output of data for machine plates by automatically executing paste-up imposition. CONSTITUTION:The image information is subjected to layout processing in accordance with layout sheet information (layout information) at a terminal 34 and the image information subjected to the layout processing is subjected to the imposition for machine plates at a terminal 35 in accordance with imposition information. The image information subjected to the layout processing at the terminal 34 is outputted as the data for proof sheets laid out for double spread pages by an output machine 38 from the terminal 35. The image information subjected to the imposition for machine plates is also outputted as the data for machine plates from the output machine 38.
