METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING POWER FOR IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide the method and device for controlling power of an image forming device in which maximum power consumption can be reduced without sacrificing preheating time. CONSTITUTION:As to the method for controlling power of the image forming device in which a photosensitive member F is carried along a carrying path 6 in a state where it successively faces to an exposing part 4, heat-developing part 7 and a pressure transferring part 8 from a supplying part 5, an image is exposed at the exposing part 4 and a latent image is formed, then the latent image is heat-developed at the heat-developing part 7, and the developed image of the photosensitive member F is transferred on a transferring member P at the pressure transferring part 8; the power supplying of a heating roller 51 to a heater 53 is controlled based on the temperature of the heating roller 51 of the heat-developing part 7, the power supplying of the transferring roller 72 to the heater 77 is controlled based on the temperature of the transferring roller 72 of the pressure transferring part 7, and the power supplying based on the control is alternately executed.
