Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To multiplex respectively independent digital signals in the form of an image and to transmit these signals by a multi-mode optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:This system is composed of the reception side provided with a reference laser beam source 12 and the transmission side to generate transmitting signals superimposed to the phase conjugate waves of reference beams transmitted from the reception side through a fiber 21. Data are multiplexed in the form of images and transmitted. On the transmission side, the data are propagated just oppositely and with two circularly polarized waves turning to right (or turning to left) with equal intensity as pump beams, phase conjugate waves are generated in the state of reproducing the polarizing state as well by an isotropic or cubic system crystal third-order non-linear optical member 33. Thus, polarizing rotation different from each mode of the optical fiber and phase delay can be respectively corrected and as the result, the contrast of image information to be transmitted is improved so as to transfer digital data multiplexed by imaging.
