Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To provide an electrical connector for an electrophotographic printer capable of moving a transfer module, after an electronic connection is attained. CONSTITUTION: This device is for electrically connecting a main device and a module 115 and this module 115 includes a device for advancing a paper sheet through a transfer zone and placing information developed on a photoconductive belt. A connector 114 is attached to the main device, so that this connector 114 can be engaged with a connector of the other party mounted on the module 115. But, when the module 115 is slightly moved up to come into contact with a photoreceptor module, the connector 114 can be moved. By this device, the restriction of the upward movement except this case, the improper operation of the device and a deterioration in the quality of a prepared copy can be minimized.
