Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a system for electromagnetically operating a camera shutter in order to provide different aparture openings. CONSTITUTION: An armature 11 consisting of a core 12 and a coil 13 is provided, the armature 11 generates a first magnetic field by permitting current to flow in the core 12, a magnet 16 positioned in the core 12 generating the second magnetic field is provided and eight gaps 1-4 and 75-78 exist between the core 12 and the magnet 16 so as to surround the magnet 16. The second magnetic field is connected to the first magnetic field and the magnet is connected to the shutter. A means for selecting first and second aparture sizes by the flow of current inside the coil 13 and controlling the quantity of light coming into the camera is provided.
