Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To check up the function of a secondary seal after the secondary seal is fitted in a motor casing by a handling tool and thereby to enable immediate replacement of the secondary seal. CONSTITUTION:A secondary seal 17 fitted in a motor casing 13 is removed and upper and lower tension bars 20b and 20a with a load cell 21 interposed are connected by screwing to a handling tool 18 for fitting. A disk 22 is connected to the upper end of the upper tension bar 20b and a cylinder part 23 is connected on the upper side of this disk 22. The disk 22 is provided with a sensor 24 and a water supply-drain port 28. The sensor 24 is connected to a mechanism part 18b by a signal cable 25 and detects the position of the secondary seal 17. The water supply-drain port 28 is provided for checking up the liquid-tightness of the secondary seal 17.
