Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a thermo-wax device which is capable of directly applying to an object to be controlled without interposing a cam or a link mechanism by a constitution wherein a piston protrudes following the temperature drop when the piston is driven and the object to be controlled is controlled according to the expansion/contraction of the thermo-wax due to the temperature change. CONSTITUTION:A piston 14 whose base side is large and whose fore side is small is arranged on the axis of a housing 1 in a straight reciprocating manner, and a spring 19 is arranged to push the piston 14 in the tip direction. The thermo-wax 20 is filled in the housing 1 to enclose at least the part where the diameter of the piston 14 is changed from the larger dia.part 15 to the smaller dia.part 16. Then, this thermo-wax is shut off from the piston 14 by means of an elastic sealing member 8, and enclosed in the housing 1.
