Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To efficiently separate and remove a non-combustible component and CO and to recover a high-calorie produce gas at low cost, by suing a PSA method under warmed conditions for mainly removing a non-combustible component and CO from a raw material gas comprising a non-combustible component such as CO2 and N2 and combustible component such as H2, CO and hydrocarbon. CONSTITUTION:A raw material gas comprising a non-combustible component such as CO2 and N2 and a combustible component such as H2, CO and hydrocarbon (e.g.: coke oven gas or methanation reaction gas) is passed under warmed conditions, i.e., at 50-200 deg.C through an adsorption tower packed with a clinoptilolite adsorbent, where the non-combustible component and CO are adsorbed while a high-calorie product gas free from CO is discharged from the adsorption tower. CO, CO2 and N2 adsorbed in the adsorption tower are desorbed in vacuo and removed as a purge gas. The above clinoptilolite adsorbent is those prepared using a natural or synthetic clinoptilolite as a raw material.
