Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a securely functional hydraulic brake system with pressure controller capable of being composed extremely simple and compact and simply manufactured at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A fixed valve seat 56 is arranged on the side of a master brake cylinder and a pressure controller 9 with its valve closing member 62 arranged on the side of a wheel brake cylinder operates as a first check valve by pressed with a spring for non-excitation state of a magnet coil 73. Only when the force applied to the valve closing member 62 by the differential pressure of a pressure fluid between the mater brake cylinder side and the wheel brake cylinder side of the pressure controller 9 is greater than the spring force of a return spring 69, the valve closing member 62 of the pressure controller 9 is elevated from the fixed valve seat 56 to open a break-through section for the pressure fluid.
