CONSTITUTION:In producing a plate material using an aluminum plate 1 as a base material, dressing treatment is applied to the aluminum plate 1 to form grain 2 having hydrophilicity and, subsequently, the grain 2 are irradiated with laser beam to be partially removed to expose the surface having oleophilicity of the aluminum plate 1 and an image consisting of a non-image part (the parts of grain 2) and an image part (the part of the aluminum plate 1) is formed.
