Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain minute spheres extremely uniform in particle size distribution by using porous glass hating through-pores with an almost uniform pore size in the thickness direction thereof and having a hydrophobic surface as an emulsifying membrane when inorg. minute spheres with a particle size of 0.01-500mum are produced by a membrane emulsifying reversed micelle method. CONSTITUTION:The distances between mutual through-pores of porous glass are three times or more of the pore size of the through-pores and pref. distributed almost uniformly. Further, the pare size of 90% of the through-pores is pref. within a mean pore size + or -5%. An aqueous solution containing particulate raw material such as alkali metal silicate is injected in an org. solvent through the porous glass to form an emulsion. A precipitant is added to the emulsion and one minute sphere is settled from one emulsion sphere to be dried and baked. By this method, inorg. the uniform minute spheres used in a packing agent for liquid chromatography or tracer particles for the measurement of a fluid due to a laser Doppler flow velocity meter can be obtained.
