Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide the tooth profile sizing die to be improved so as to increase the quality of material without increasing the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION:At a tooth profile sizing die 4 with a finishing tooth profile 7 in order to ironing the tooth profile of preform 12 that the gear tooth profile 12a along the axial line is roughly forged, the diameter of tip circle of the finishing tooth profile is made smaller in comparison with the diameter of tip circle of the tooth profile of preform, and the diameter of root circle of the finishing tooth profile is made larger in comparison with the diameter of root circle of the tooth profile of preform, together the dimension of tooth thickness of the finishing tooth profile is made smaller in comparison with the corresponding dimension of the tooth profile of preform, and the dimensional difference of tooth thickness of the tooth profile of preform and the finishing tooth profile is made so as to be gradually reduced from the tooth root to the tooth top.
