Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a process for removing molybdenum from a filtrate by treating a molybdenum contg. fraction which is formed during synthesis of propylene oxide and tert-butyl alcohol from propylene and tert-butyl hydroperoxide. CONSTITUTION: A distillation fraction contg. 50-500 ppm of dissolved molybdenum from distillation fraction contg. dissolved molybdenum catalyst which is formed during a reaction process for synthesis of propylene oxide and tert- butyl alcohol in the presence of a soluble molybdenum catalyst is brought into contact with porous synthetic amorphous magnesium silicate having a high surface area in an adsorption area, and from which the catalyst is recovered as an eluate contg.
