DOCUMENT INFORMATION READER

PURPOSE:To automatically store sentence information by memorizing the sentence information after rotating it 180 deg. in the case of reading in the inverse direction. CONSTITUTION:When the sentence information is read by a reader 1, it is binarized by a binarization circuit of a processor 4 to be stored in a work memory 41. A means 6 discriminates the number of lines, a means 5 discriminates whether it is written in a horizontal or vertical writing, and deciding the document area on a memory 41. The means 6 discriminates the direction of the form S. If the form S points to the inverse direction, a rotation means 7 is operated to be stored in a memory 2. In the case of the positive direction, the information is written in the means 2 without rotation processing. Thus, the housing processing can be automatically performed without aid of an operator.
