ERRONEOUS INPUT PREVENTING TOUCH PANEL

PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous input of an adjacent key by arranging a dummy transparent electrode between adjacent longitudinal transparent electrodes and/or adjacent lateral transparent electrodes. CONSTITUTION:At the touch panel provided with longitudinal transparent electrodes 2 to detect longitudinal key inputs and lateral transparent electrodes 3 to detect lateral key inputs, dummy transparent electrodes 4 are arranged between the adjacent longitudinal transparent electrodes 2 and/or the adjacent lateral transparent electrodes 3. On a transparent film covering the surface of the touch panel, projections are formed at the positions of the central parts of keys. Further, on the transparent film covering the surface of the touch panel, projecting parts are formed corresponding to the positions of the keys. Thus, without affecting the transparent degree of the touch panel, the erroneous inputs of the adjacent keys can be prevented by the existence of the dummy electrode 4 between the transparent electrodes 2 and 3.
