Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To measure the flow rate of liquid flow passing a nozzle by measuring the density of power spectrum and the size of the area of the density from the signal of a vibration sensor approaching two-phase (liquid-gas) injection nozzle. CONSTITUTION: The oil 16 passing through a block valve 17 is mixed with steam 18 controlled by a control orifice 19. The mixture is injected as fog 23 via a nozzle barrel 21 and a nozzle tip 22. A vibration sensor 24 is provided at the position easily sensitive to the sound or vibration of fluid flow such as a lodging plug. In the tubing of the nozzle, the density of power spectrum us measured from the output of the sensor 24 in the frequency band including a resonance peak. The strength of the peak strongly depends upon the mass flow of the liquid, and increases as the flow rate increases. The measured value of the area of the band including the peak is proportional to the flow rate of the liquid, and scarcely affected by the gas flow rate. Thus, the flow rate of the liquid can be measured from the measurement of th density of the vibration spectrum.
