TUBULAR HEATER AND ROOM HEATING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To improve the quality by sealing both ends of a glass tube with a heat-resisting metallic member. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical heat-resisting metallic members 11 are fitted, bonded and fixed to the inner peripheries at both ends of a glass tube 1. A hollow 12 is formed at the center of the member 11 in the axial direction, and the leg part of a heating wire 4 is inserted to the inside of the member 11. The bending part 5 of the wire 4 is abutted and locked to the inner side end face of the member 11. As a result, the sealing process of the both ends of the tube 1 is made unnecessary, an exclusive equipment for glass processing is made unnecessary, and the assembling of the heater is facilitated so as to reduce the cost. Furthermore, the size accuracy of the sealing part is made accurate, and the quality of the heater can be improved.
