Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To eliminate spot-welding and a plate by hooking and fixing both hook-like ends of a shrink band. CONSTITUTION:Hook-like projections 9, 9 formed on both ends of a band 4 are hooked and fixed to constitute a shrink band 7. Thereby, the shrinkage force can be preserved at the hooking connection part. Same effect can be obtained by forming the hook-like projections in the up and down direction. Furthermore, an explosion-proof type cathode-ray tube can be maintained with the shrinkage force of the band 7 and a ring, by fixing face to face the L-shaped projection formed on both ends of the band 4 by the use of the ring.
