PICKUP DEVICE FEEDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To accurately detect a pickup position without making the device complicate by fitting a position detection switch of the pickup device to a pressing support member positioning a screw shaft. CONSTITUTION:A detection switch 35 detecting a position of the pickup device supported by a screw shaft 16 and fed is fitted to a pressing support member 34 for positioning by pressing and supporting an end of the screw shaft 16. The position is accurately detected by the detection switch 35 based on the screw shaft 16. Thus, when the pickup device 12 is moved to the end of the screw shaft 16, the screw shaft 16 and the pickup device 12 are properly stopped and the occurrence of an excess load onto the shaft 16 and the pickup device 12 is prevented without making unnecessarily the screw shaft 16 long.
