Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To remove the inner layer of metal strip coil on the fixed mounting stand by using the intruding jig which invades in the clearance between the inner end and the most inner layer and partitions the coil layer from the adjoining next coil inner layer by revolving. CONSTITUTION:An intruding jig 78 having a showbric-shaped lateral section including a flat surface which has a wedge like top end is attached at a hand 62 of a robot 50, invaded and revolved in the clearance between the inner end and the most inner layer of a metal strip coil 12 to be treated on a fixed mounting stand 28 and the coil layer is partitioned from adjoining next coil inner layer, then the metal strip coil 12 is cut with a cutter 36 arranged in the fixed mounting stand 28. In such a way, the inner end of metal strip coil 12 and at least, the most inner layer of coil can be mechanically and effectively removed.
