AUTOMATIC PLAYING DEVICE FOR MUSICAL INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To provide the automatic musical instrument playing device which performs normal automatic playing operation even after fast-forwarding or rewinding specification is reset without spoiling the quality of reproduced music. CONSTITUTION:A history register 15 is provided as a holding means for holding pedal performance information in performance information read out of a storage means 22 and the final history of the pedal performance information in fast- forwarding or rewinding mode is held in the register 15; when the fast- forwarding or rewinding mode is reset, pedal operation elements are driven according to the pedal performance information held in the register 15 prior to the execution of performance information on keys, and then the performance is restarted.
