REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE:To increase the effective volume of the interior of a refrigerator, improve the cooling performance, and reduce the generation of noise by providing a baffle which faces an opening part for a damper device the rear being an upper stream and capable of opening and closing the opening part. CONSTITUTION:A damper device 22 arranged in the upper rear of a refrigerating chamber 14 is provided with an opening part 22a, a baffle 22b located in the rear thereof, and a controller 22d for opening and closing the baffle. A part of air passing through a cooler is discharged to a refrigerating chamber 13 through operation of a fan 17 and other part flows in a first blast duct 25. In this case, an opening part 22a of the damper device 22 is positioned facing the refrigerating chamber 14 side, the baffle 22b is positioned in the rear of the opening part 22a, i.e., on the upper stream of air based on the opening part 22a, and the opening part 22a is opened and closed through longitudinal movement in a state to be positioned facing the opening part 22a. This constitution increases an air flow and improves a cooling speed.
