CONSTANT VELOCITY UNIVERSAL JOINT

PURPOSE:To increase a contact angle without decreasing a working angle. CONSTITUTION:This constant velocity universal joint is constituted of a hollow outer ring 1 in which three wall parts 1a are projectingly formed on the inner diameter side at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, an inner ring 2 on which three projections 2a arranged between adjoining wall parts 1a are formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, six balls 3 arranged between the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 2, and holders 5 to hold the balls 3 in the planes dividing the working angle into two equal parts. Guide grooves 1b are formed along both sides of the wall parts 1a, and ball tracks are formed by means of the guide grooves 1b cooperated with guide grooves 2b formed along both sides of the projections 2a.
