METHOD FOR FORMING SECOND LAYER OF GREEN COMPACT ON CYLINDRICAL MEMBER AND MOLDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture composite mechanical parts consisting of alloys varying in properties in and out by forming a green compact having a desired density on the inside or outside surface of a cylindrical member consisting of a smelted material or sintered material with good dimensional accuracy. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a 1st die 1 which has a cylindrical hole, a lower compacting punch 2 and core 3 which are vertically movable, a powder feeder 7 which exists atop the 1st die and is movable forward and backward to and from a cavity, a member supplying means which supplies the cylindrical member 10 onto the 1st die, a 2nd die 4 which forms a die hole larger than the cylindrical hole of the 1st die, an upper compacting punch 5 which is vertically movable above the 2nd die 4 and a member retaining punch 6.
