PAPER SHEET CASSETTE

PURPOSE:To provide a paper sheet cassette wherein various types of paper sheets are perceived in simple configuration by a single paper-sheet type perception means. CONSTITUTION:A paper-sheet type perception means 18 is provided on a size plate 1a of a paper sheet cassette 3. In a magnet-unit insertion portion 19 of the paper-sheet type perception means 18, four recesses 20 are disposed. In each recess 20, a corresponding magnet unit 21 is set, to be attached or detached freely. A permanent magnet 23 is fixed only on the front face 21a of the magnet unit 21. The magnet unit 20 can be set in the recess 20 either from the front face 21a or from the rear face 21b. As viewed from outside, in the each recess 20, the state of permanent magnet 23 'yes' or 'no' is made possible. The arrangement of permanent magnets 23 is thus changed according to the size of a paper sheet. Information of the size is read by a magnetic sensor installed in a paper sheet feeder body 1.
