WATER PURIFIER

PURPOSE:To detect a decrease in water amt. due to the clogging of a cartridge and to easily indicate the service life of the cartridge and the time to exchange the cartridges by providing a water amt. checker on the purified water outlet- side of the water purifier. CONSTITUTION:A body 1 is freely detachably fixed to a faucet 3 through a connector 2, provided with a central passage 1a, in which a switching valve 4 is housed and communicated with the faucet passage 1b, a raw water discharge passage 1c or an inlet passage 1d. A cartridge 5 is freely detachably fixed to the body 1 and has a water inlet 5a and a water outlet 5b on the lower surface. The water inlet 5a is communicated with the inlet passage 1d of the body 1 and the water outlet 5b with a purified water outlet passage 1e of the body 1. An elastic body 6 and a valve 7 are formed in the pure water outlet passage 1e of the body 1, vertically moved in accordance with the water amt. and placed at a certain position when the water amt. is decreased below a specified value due to the clogging of the cartridge, and the pure water outlet passage at the position is made transparent 8.
