Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a high-refractive index synthetic resin lens having excellent optical characteristics of a high refractive index and low dispersion and having good physical characteristics. CONSTITUTION:This synthetic resin lens consists of a copolymer which is obtd. by casting polymn. of 70 to 100wt.% monomer mixture consisting of a component A consisting of the bromine atomcontg. dithiol compd. expressed by formula and a component B consisting of divinyl benzene at such a ratio of the component A to the component B as to attain 0.25 to 3.5 ratio by weight and 30 to 0wt.% copolymerizable monomer copolymerizable therewith and has >=1.61 refractive index and >=27 Abbe number. (In the formula, (n) and (m) denote an integer from 1 to 3 may be the same or different.)
