Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To inhibit generation of scum in the case of weaving screen gauze by regulating breaking strength, modulus at specified elongation and elongation at break to specified value and constituting the sheath components of polyester containing thermoplastic elastomer at the specified rate in core-sheath type composite monofilament made of polyester. CONSTITUTION:In core-sheath type composite monofilament made of polyester, breaking strength, modulus at 10% elongation and elongation at break are respectively regulated to >=6g/d, >=3.5g/d and below 3.5%. Moreover the sheath component is constituted of polyester containing thermoplastic elastomer at 1-40wt.%. The thermoplastic elastomer is polyolefine-base thermoplastic elastomer which incorporates the blended body of an ethylene-propylene-diene based tercopolymer and polyolefine as a main body. As a result, inhibition effect for generation of scum is made excellent in the case of weaving screen gauze. Furthermore the title polyester monofilament has high strength and high elasticity necessary for precision screen printing.
