CONSTITUTION:In the production of a filter element for an air cleaner wherein a filter member 2 formed in a corrugated shape is provided to the internal opening of a frame body 1 made of a synthetic resin, an inside mold consisting of upper and lower molds 3, 4 holding the filter member 1 therebetween are arranged to a part of the opening edge part of the frame body 1 and a synthetic resin is injected in the gap between the inside mold and an outside mold and the end part of the filter member 1 is embedded in the frame body 1 to mold the frame body.
