Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make it possible to safely and easily perform the inserting work while easily maintaining watertight and airtight state when automatically inserting and treating caps for protecting cut-off cable terminals. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of tanks 4 housing many caps for inserting and fitting cable terminals to an index table 3 are provided in a freely sliding manner, and a moving mechanism 5 for reciprocating each tank back and forth and a moving mechanism 6 for reciprocating each tank in right-left direction are provided. And also an operating mechanism for chucking and extending caps to a cable inserting holes 10 located at both the sides of the tanks 4 and a mechanism for carrying each cap respectively to the cable inserting holes 10 are provided, by which the cap mounting and handling are made much easier and cable terminal treating work can be made more efficient.
