SIGNAL LINE FILTER

PURPOSE:To provide a signal line filter provided with a clip having excellent elastic properties which clamp and press a magnetic core and capable of following any fluctuations about its outer shape and which has high noise absorption properties and, what is more, whose assembling and mounting on a signal cable are easy. CONSTITUTION:A signal line filter 1 comprises a magnetic core which clamps a signal cable 2 with a plurality of magnetic core pieces 3a and 3b and a clip 4 which presses the magnetic core pieces and forms the magnetic core pieces into one piece and holds the integrated magnetic core. The clip 4 is made of an elastic sheet material and formed in the shape of Japanese character U. An engagement portion 5, which is engaged with the both ends of the magnetic core piece 3a on one side 2a of the signal cable 2, is formed on the end of two legs 6. A central part 7, which couples the two legs 6, forms a pressing portion 8, which is curved inwardly and placed into contact with the magnetic core piece 3b on the other side 2b of the signal cable 2, thereby providing a spring function to clamp the magnetic cores under pressure.
