FAULT INFORMATION COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC COMPUTER SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce memory image information at the time of fault generation and to collect page-out information by instructing an execution command trace means storing command execution information in time series to stop and restart collecting information CONSTITUTION:An execution command trace means 30 receiving the execution command information from a command execution part 20 stores the information in time order. When the command execution part 20 cannot execute the command normally and the level of the entire system requires the interruption of an operation, an execution command trace control means 50 instructs the execution command trace means 30 to stop the storage processing of the execution command information. With a fault generation notice from a program exception detection means 40, a fault information storage means 60 requests the transmission of the execution command information stored in the execution command trace means 30. The fault information storage means 60 analyzes the transmitted execution command information to extract segment information which is referred to and updated. Based on the information, the content or the segment is stored in the fault information storage area of a secondary storage device 3.
