BOILER STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To provide a boiler support structure which enables reduction of an earthquake load exerted on a support iron frame, in a boiler structure wherein a boiler is supported in a suspending state by means of the boiler support iron frame. CONSTITUTION:A boiler structure comprises a support iron frame 1, a boiler body 2 suspended by means of a suspension bolt 21, and seismic ties 3 to constrain relative displacement in a horizontal direction between the support iron frame 1 and the boiler body 2. In the boiler structure, the seismic ties 3 are arranged at least one at each part of an upper and a lower part based on the center of gravity position of the boiler body 2. Rigidity of the upper seismic tie is increased to a value higher than that of the lower seismic tie to absorb vibration energy of earthquake. This structure reduces an earthquake load exerted on the support iron frame 1 by 20% or more, improves earthquake resisting soundness, and enables reduction of the weights of the support iron frame 1 and a boiler foundation.
