VERMIN-CONTROLLING PERFUMERY AGENT FOR AGRICULTURAL USE

PURPOSE:To provide a vermin-controlling perfumery agent for agricultural use having high safety and sure effect and useful for the control of vermin in greenhouse. CONSTITUTION:Wood vinegar used as a main material is incorporated with bentonite to promote the foaming and evaporation of wood vinegar. The mixture is further incorporated with dried mugwort powder, dried Houttuynia cordata, etc., according to the desired actions and stirred to obtain a uniform mixture. The product is used singly or as a main agent of a composition and sealed in an openable vessel to obtain the objective vermin-controlling perfumery agent for agricultural use. The agent can be applied simply by opening the lid of the vessel and placing the vessel in a vinyl house after closing the windows and doors of the house to form an environment effective for suppressing the occurrence of vermin and for repelling vermin. Accordingly, the labor for spraying agricultural chemicals can be saved and, at the same time, the safety can be improved and the culture cost can be reduced because the agent is free from undesirable influence on the environment and harmless to human body. The amounts of bentonite and the dried mugwort powder, etc., are preferably 8g + or -about 40% and about 20g based on 800g of wood vinegar, respectively.
