CONNECTOR COVER AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the electrostatic destruction of ICs on a circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A connector cover 6 is detachable from a connector 3 possessing plural pins 4 including a pin connected to the ground electrode of a circuit board. The connector cover 6 is formed by a conductive member to be connected to all the pins 4 in an attached state to the connector 3. Therefore even if static electricity flows to the pins connected to signal input/output electrodes except the ground electrode of the circuit board among all the pins 4 of the connector 3, the static electricity flows into the ground electrode via the connection cover 6. Thereby it is possible to prevent the flow-in of the static electricity to ICs on the circuit board, even though the charged hand or the charged finger of a worker, or the charged component part of a machine touches the pin connected to the signal input/output electrode among all the pins 4 of the connector 3, during the mounting process of the circuit board into an electronic equipment 1.
