Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject conjugate fiber suitable for artificial leather, splittable into plural parts, having a feeling of high grade, excellent moistureproofness, flexibility and handle by spinning a polyester and a specific polyamide under a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:A blend of a polyester component and a polyamide component obtained by blending 90-30wt.% nylon 6 and/or nylon 66 with 10-70wt.% polyamide having a ratio of a number of methylene groups and a number of amide groups of 7-11 in a main chain of polymer is subjected to melt spinning in such a way that one component is splittable 4 to 8 parts of convex lens shape, a delivery ratio (volume ratio) of the split component and nonsplit component is 70/30 to 90/10, melt viscosity of the split component is higher than that of the nonsplit component and an atmosphere temperature at 1-3cm right below a spinneret is =95% to
