OPTICAL DISK REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction by discriminating the voltage level of an audio signal just before input to a speaker at the time of reproducing and improving the servo following-up capability at the time of excess of the voltage level over a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:When it is judged that digital data reaches a prescribed digital value and exceeds this value, a control signal to increase the amplification gains of focus and tracking coil drive circuits 8 and 9 is outputted from a control circuit 11. Then, extents of focus servo and tracking servo are increased, and the output characteristic of position control of an information track due to a servo control circuit 7 is so changed that the servo dependent upon an actuator can follow up. Consequently, the malfunction such as stylus skip due to vibration brought about by a speaker is prevented even when the sound volume level is high.
