NODE ADDRESS AUTOMATIC GENERATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To set the address of a node without requiring hands neither performing a special processing. CONSTITUTION:A node which does not have a self-address uses a temporary address to transmit the packet where the transmission destination, the transmission source, and the data length of the information part are set to multiple addresses, the temporary address, and 0 respectively. This node settles the temporary address as the self-address after confirmation processing at the time of return of the transmitted packet. In the other nodes, information part counters 14 measure the data length of the information part of the packet if the transmission source address coincides with their self-addresses at the time of reception of the packet. When the data length of the information part is 0 as the result, packet removing parts 16 remove the received packet from a LAN. Thus, the node address is set without requiring hands neither using a special private packet.
