Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To clean exhaust gas and to reduce energy consumption by correcting a basic fuel injection amount, obtained from an intake air amount and a rotational speed, in accordance with an operational condition, and making secondary air flow in accordance with a correction amount. CONSTITUTION:A basic fuel injection amount is obtained from an intake air flow meter 10 and a position sensor 12 or the like for measuring a rotational angle of a crank, and further from a reference sensor 11, throttle opening sensor 13, air-fuel ratio sensor 14, etc., an operational condition of an engine is detected and input to an engine control unit 1 to inject fuel by correcting the basic fuel injection amount. In accordance with this correction amount, a secondary air pump 16 is controlled by a pump control unit to supply sufficient secondary air. Thus, exhaust is purified while reducing consumption energy as compared with the case of normally rotating the secondary air pump.
